I saw on #2216 that Buckinghamshire should be fixed as well, but I am still getting "Failed setup, will retry: Unexpected error: 'NoneType' object is not iterable"

I have updated to Version 0.172.2 and HA has been restarted. Also tested by adding another UPRN and getting the same error

+1 I'm getting the same thing still, even tried using https://github.com/lukasdcl/UKBinCollectionData as a custom repo. I tried to find where the buckinghamcouncil.py file is, it' s not in the HA file system that I can see.

Fixed in #2224, now merged to master.

The council retired the single-call /kmbd/collectionDay endpoint the old scraper used. It still resolves and still returns a valid-looking encrypted response, but the payload is now permanently {"collectionDay": null} — which is exactly the 'NoneType' object is not iterable you're seeing (iterating over that null).

Collection data now comes from a 4-step session against the council's current form engine instead. Verified live end-to-end (real UPRN, current dates returned correctly) before merging.

You'll need to update to the next release once it's published (the version bump/release workflow runs automatically after merge) — restarting Home Assistant on the current version won't pick this up, since the fix is in the underlying uk-bin-collection package. I'll leave this open until you can confirm the new version resolves it for you.

One heads-up: bin type names now come from the council's own table text, which may not exactly match what they were before — if you have a custom icon_color_mapping for Buckinghamshire, you may need to update it to match the new type strings.
