The url in the pom (of the submodules) is invalid #718

Open

Description

@ST-DDT

Maven seems to append the module name to project's url thus it references a page that does not exist.

http://bytebuddy.net/byte-buddy
http://bytebuddy.net/byte-buddy-agent

Please set the correct url for the submodules as well or configure a server side redirect.

You can test this with mvn site and then checking the links on the dependency page.

    Thanks, I was not aware of that!

    @raphw, could you please reopen this issue? Apparently you had to undo the fix due to using an older Maven version (d6ae3e8).

    Maybe the only solution for now would be to duplicate the properties for all submodules.

    The problem is that this requires changed that cannot be shielded in a profile. Older Maven will simply fail to parse the POM.

    @M-PRANAY

    Is it fixed and released? I still see broken urls in https://central.sonatype.com/ for byte-buddy

    As stated, I needed to roll this back. At the same time, is this still an issue? Cannot see it anywhere here: https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/net.bytebuddy/byte-buddy

    It is at the right side under "External Resources" as "Project URL".
