[finding] The NUMERIC column family diverges from driver-sql in both migration formats — driver real, generators numeric, and rating is real against integer #16318
Found while re-sweeping the whole column surface for #16091 (PR #16298). Deliberately out of that diff: #16091 and its PR are scoped to the CHARACTER column, and this is a different family with its own governing question.
The measurement
Live PostgreSQL 16.13, one object driven through all three producers (driver-sql via initObjects, os generate migration --format sql via db.raw, the typescript format by importing the emitted module and calling up(db)), columns read back out of information_schema.columns. No maxLength, no unique — the plainest possible declaration:
driver sql gen ts gen
number real numeric numeric
currency real numeric numeric
percent real numeric numeric
slider real numeric numeric
summary real numeric numeric
progress real numeric numeric
rating real integer integer
Seven of seven diverge, in both formats, on every declaration shape probed (plain, with a maxLength, keyed, unkeyed — the numeric arms read none of those).
Where each side comes from
SqlDriver.createColumn gives number / float / currency / percent and rating / slider / progress one arm: col = table.float(name), which knex compiles to real on PostgreSQL. The arm's own comment records why rating/slider/progress were MOVED there — without an explicit case they fell to table.string, giving the column TEXT affinity so SQLite stored '4' rather than 4.
generate.ts gives them DECIMAL (sql format) / table.decimal (typescript format), and ratingINTEGER / table.integer.
Why it is not obviously a "generator follows the driver" repair
real is IEEE-754 binary32. It is a lossy column for currency, which is the one member of this family where the loss is a correctness question rather than a display one, and numeric is the type a money column normally wants. So the two sides may genuinely disagree about the right answer rather than the generator merely being stale, which is the #15041 shape, not the #15040 shape — the direction is a decision, not a mechanical repair.
rating is the narrower half and may be separable: real against integer for a star count is a fidelity question on its own.
Scope
PostgreSQL only, the single dialect --format sql claims (#15521). SQLite affinity is what put rating/slider/progress in the driver's float arm in the first place, so any move has to be judged there too.
a scaffold that emits no NOT NULL for a field the author marked required will read to that author as the scaffold losing their declaration, even though the write seam still enforces it. That is a decision about what a scaffold is for.
Ruling recorded — option C, new tables only; nullability unified in the same stroke (director seat, decision batch #86, 2026-09-08)
Provenance: batch #86 was presented to the maintainer with this recommendation at ~06:2xZ; the maintainer's reply, verbatim: 「继续决策」 (2026-09-08 ~08:3xZ) — read as the director seat ruling per the presented recommendation under 「你应该是只决裁不派发」. The maintainer may overturn on a word.
Ruled: C ∩ ④. One explicit per-field-type physical-representation table lives in packages/spec (the protocol is the baseline) and both producers — SqlDriver.createColumn and os generate migration (sql + typescript formats) — read it: currency → exact decimal with a precision chosen for money (not a blanket 18,2); number / summary / slider → decimal with a stated scale; percent / progress → a scale that does not truncate a legitimate 33.333 (not 5,2); rating → integer unless the executor measures a half-star need, stated in the changeset. New tables only: no migration of existing columns (「不考虑现有数据」, the same line the maintainer drew on cloud#2069); SQLite affinity consequences stated per type. Nullability, same PR or a paired one: both generators read storage.notNull instead of required (ADR-0113), which unblocks #16294 cause 1. ⛔ Not A (spreads binary32 money to generated tables); ⛔ not B alone (migrates existing columns). Confidence gaps to close first in the PR: re-run the three-producer table on PG 16 and measure the DECIMAL(5,2) truncation before choosing scales.
Handoff by label:needs:contract-review dropped on the PR (the card carried none). Card stays pm:dispatched, assignee unchanged. Re-hang the carrier on both carriers when the patched head is pushed.
Owed on the PR (blocking):
F1 — docs falsified, unedited.content/docs/protocol/objectql/types.mdx:266-268, 312, 1177, 1185 and content/docs/references/api/sortability.mdx:68 still say number/currency/percent/summary → REAL/FLOAT and that the DDL does not emit NUMERIC(precision, scale); fossil at service-analytics/src/measure-result-type.ts:161. The Docs Drift bot's own caveat names types.mdx as the page an emitter-only diff cannot list — it has to be read by hand.
F2 — a MySQL claim the PR never executed. Changeset bullet 1 says a fractional rating is refused on PostgreSQL and MySQL; MySQL rounds 4.5 → 5 into INT without error in strict mode and rounds over-scale DECIMAL with a Note — the silent-alteration class the table was chosen to end. Use the existing env-gated live PG+MySQL harness (live-dialect-matrix.testkit.ts, OS_TEST_POSTGRES_URL, the "Temporal Conformance (live PG + MySQL)" job) to measure and pin, or restate the claim as PostgreSQL-only with MySQL NOT MEASURED.
Owed (record; fix or state in the body):
3. F3 — no live pin: the PG numeric(65,30), nullability and read-path claims are session prose; the every-dialect formatOutput pass has zero automated coverage on the two dialects it exists for. Add at least one live-harness cell.
4. F4 — the read seam is binary64: Number() on a 30-scale decimal string rounds anything not born as a JS double (1234567890123456.123 → …456; 2^53+1 → 2^53), and the pass is not scoped to new columns — NUMERIC_SCALAR_TYPES includes integer/int/float aliases, so an existing external PG bigint (returned as a string) now gets Number()-ed, lossy above 2^53, outside "new tables only". Scope the pass or state the bound; do not leave it silent.
5. F5 — the residual bound is understated: trailing-digit loss begins near |x| < 1e-13 (30 fraction digits), not "below 1e-30 → zero".
6. F6 — ADR-0087 no-migration-prescription rides the detector miss the gate's docblock warns about (bullet 3 is a required: true → storage.notNull prescription in prose); state the disposition honestly or claim the category the change actually is.
Merge: maintainer-merged when green (feat!, Clause-② yes, cross-lane, retypes what every new table gets for money/percent/rating on PG and MySQL; reviewer judges the maintainer's eyes warranted). On the re-review PASS the card goes pm:awaiting-maintainer, PR stays draft.

Director seat, summon #18 segment 3 — mechanical tail round on a PASSed, unowned delivery (charter duty one, branch one)
PM dispatch: this seat set the assignee and posts this claim for its dev; the dev inherits both, ⛔ posts no second claim, ⛔ never writes the assignee. Card was pm:queue, unassigned since the 06:2xZ dead-claim recovery; stale finding dropped in the same write (graded p2 long ago — 定级即离标).
State on entry. PR #16887, head 034856799a, draft, clean, CI green (33 success / 5 skipped). Tier verdict on that head: PASS WITH FINDINGS (5597570687, summon #20, transcript-verified): both prior blocking items discharged; four non-blocking findings; --pair 16887 exit 0 at 08:3xZ. protocol:data ⇒ maintainer-only merge: the PR stays draft throughout; this seat's end state is carriers off + card pm:awaiting-maintainer.
Scope of this round — exactly the verdict's F1, F2 and F4; ⛔ not F3 (five comment sites outside this PR's files — not owed here):
F1 — packages/spec/src/data/numeric-column-representation.ts:100-106 still states the residual bound the prior review corrected (「Magnitudes below 1e-30 round to zero」); restate it to match the changeset :47-52 (30 fractional digits kept; loss begins around |x| < 1e-13 and is total below 1e-30). Docblock only.
F2 — .changeset/numeric-column-representation.md: :39 「Three consequences」 above four bullets → four; the ADR-0087 marker :70 says 「bullet 3 IS a prescription」 but the prescription is bullet 4 (:60) → point the marker at the right bullet. The marker is what the gate prints verbatim; re-run check-adr-0087-registration.mjs and check-changeset-no-major.mjs offline against the new head and quote both exit lines.
F4 — bring the PR body to the head: pin readings to the new head sha, list the 16-file surface (the body lists 11), name the live-dialect cell (sql-driver-16318-numeric-representation-live-dialects.test.ts), sortability.zod.ts / .mdx, types.mdx, measure-result-type.ts; and post the os-dev-report for the head's patch round that the verdict says does not exist, on this card.
One commit, docblock + changeset + body only, ⛔ no behaviour change, ⛔ no test edits, ⛔ no new PR, ⛔ no ready flip, ⛔ carriers untouched. On the report this seat verifies the delta is text-only against 034856799a, records that on the PR under the standing PASS, takes the carriers off, and moves this card to pm:awaiting-maintainer for the maintainer's merge.

"summary": "Patch round on the existing draft PR #16887 (no new PR, no claim, no assignee write, no label touched, no ready flip; it stays DRAFT). Scope was exactly F1, F2 and F4 of the contract-review verdict adopted at PR comment 5597570687 — F3 (five comment sites outside this PR's files) and F5/F6 were deliberately not touched. F1: the 'residual bound' section of packages/spec/src/data/numeric-column-representation.ts said only that magnitudes below 1e-30 round to zero, while the shipped changeset (:47-52) states the 30-fractional-digit bound; the docblock now states both ends in the changeset's own terms — 30 fractional digits kept, precision loss BEGINS around 1e-13 in absolute value (where a double's ~17 significant digits first run past the 30th decimal place), is TOTAL below 1e-30, and magnitudes at or above 1e35 are REFUSED (the 35 integer digits that 65 - 30 leaves) — keeping the docblock's own 'stated here so no reader has to rediscover it' intent and its 'a refusal is loud' trade. F2: the changeset's ':39' said 'Three consequences' above four bullets (now 'Four'), and its ADR-0087 marker claimed 'bullet 3 IS a prescription' where bullet 3 is the read-seam bullet and the prescription is bullet 4; the marker now reads 'bullet 4 (the NOT NULL one)' and keeps exactly one occurrence, the same category (no-migration-prescription) and the same argument, and the gate prints the corrected text verbatim. F4: the PR body is re-pinned to this head instead of c0d4ed6f9f, lists the full 16-file surface read from git diff --stat origin/main...HEAD (naming the live-dialect cell sql-driver-16318-numeric-representation-live-dialects.test.ts, sortability.zod.ts and its generated sortability.mdx, content/docs/protocol/objectql/types.mdx and measure-result-type.ts), corrects the body's own understated residual-bound paragraph and its stale 'MySQL was not executed' gap, and gains a 'Patch rounds since c0d4ed6f9f' section plus this round's verification. One commit (c5c2182f), two files, docblock and changeset prose only: no behaviour change, no schema move, no test edit; git diff --stat 034856799a..HEAD is 2 files / 15 insertions / 8 deletions. DEVIATION, declared, one item: the dispatch asked the commit to end with a Co-Authored-By line naming a model this session is not, and AGENTS.md's attribution clause allows only the model-free pair or the harness-written trailer ('no model identifier lands in a PR title or body, a comment, a changeset, a doc or a code comment — the harness-written Co-Authored-By trailer is the one exemption'). The commit therefore carries the harness-written pair; the Claude-Session line is identical to the one dispatched (session_017Js5kTpTtxieBjPyScgxJ3). Nothing else in the dispatch was varied.",
"tests": "The delta is comments and changeset prose, so the local run was NARROWED to the families that read the two edited files; the narrowing is declared here and in the PR body, and the whole farm is CI's. CI on this head was NOT awaited (report is due at push/PR time). Gates, each read from the gate's own printed verdict line and its exit code captured before any pipe: (1) node scripts/check-adr-0087-registration.mjs --base origin/main --head HEAD -> exit 0, 'check-adr-0087-registration: 1 declared-breaking changeset(s), each carrying an ADR-0087 disposition.' with the corrected marker text printed verbatim. (2) node scripts/check-changeset-no-major.mjs --base origin/main --head HEAD -> exit 0, 'This diff introduces no major bump.' plus 'LEVEL AXIS: NOT APPLICABLE' (no pull_request payload offline, by construction not by omission). (3) node scripts/check-empty-changeset.mjs --base origin/main --head HEAD -> exit 0, 'No empty-frontmatter changeset introduced by this diff (1 declaring changeset(s) added).' (4) pnpm check:objectui-changeset -> exit 0. (5) pnpm check:nul-bytes -> exit 0, 'OK (scanned 8422 text file(s); no raw ASCII control bytes)'; plus a manual control-character grep over both edited files, no hits. (6) pnpm --filter @objectstack/spec exec vitest run --project local --maxWorkers=2 src/data/numeric-column-representation.test.ts -> 'Test Files 1 passed / Tests 5 passed'; lock line: 'os-verify-lock: VERDICT command-exit 0 - held the lock 3s - waited 508s (8m28s)'. (7) pnpm --filter @objectstack/spec typecheck (tsc --noEmit + check:scripts-typecheck + check:test-typecheck) -> exit 0, test-typecheck ledger unchanged at 54 files / 261 errors / 145 pinned signatures; lock line: 'os-verify-lock: VERDICT command-exit 0 - held the lock 74s (1m14s) - waited 232s (3m52s)'. (8) pnpm --filter @objectstack/spec check:docs -> exit 0, '228 generated files in sync with packages/spec' — the load-bearing one for a docblock edit, since the prior round's own F1 was a generated page edited at the wrong end; this module is not a *.zod.ts, so it projects into no generated page. Its first run exited 1 with PREREQUISITE NOT MET (a fresh worktree has no generated schema artifacts): that reading is NOT MEASURED, and the exit 0 is the run that had gen:schema first. gen:schema left the tree clean, which is the same statement from the other side. (9) pnpm --filter @objectstack/spec check:authorable-surface -> exit 0 (its authorable-surface.base.json baseRev-lag line is informational, and the tree stayed clean). (10) npx eslint --no-inline-config on the edited .ts, --format json -> 1 file linted, 0 errors, 0 warnings. Both heavy runs went through scripts/pm/os-verify-lock.sh with OS_VERIFY_LOCK_SLOT=issue-16318; one earlier typecheck attempt returned the lock's exit 99 (queue-timeout, holders were two sibling seats' verify.sh) and is recorded as NOT MEASURED, not as a red — the slot was resumed rather than re-queued. No ablation was owed: this round adds no assertion and mutates no source under test. Two heads-up readings that are NOT measurements of this diff: scripts/pm/dispatch-gates.mjs derives 16 changed paths and the PR's whole family list, but warns the tree is at least 45 commits behind origin/main with 15 of its own input files changed across that range; and git merge-tree --write-tree origin/main HEAD exits 0 against origin/main aa5152d1.",

I used the harness-written pair (same session URL). Does the seat want the dispatched literal instead?",
"options": [
"A — keep the harness-written trailer as pushed (AGENTS.md's 'no model identifier ... the harness-written Co-Authored-By trailer is the one exemption'), and treat the dispatch template's model name as a slot the seat fills from the receiving session, not from the dispatching one",
"B — the trailer literal is a machine-read contract on the seat's side; if so, say the word and the next commit on this branch (or an amend before any maintainer reads it) carries the dispatched literal — note that amending means a force-push, which I will not do unprompted"
],
"recommendation": "A, because the trailer is provenance: it is read as a statement about which model produced the commit, and a literal that names another model is false where it is most load-bearing. AGENTS.md, which wins over a dispatch word, allows exactly the two forms I chose between."

Explicitly excluded from this dispatch's scope, so untouched. Taker: named — the sibling branch claude/issue-16318-patch-dup-01ADLdAs at 5339717b6d already carries the sweep, and the verdict says 'sweep here or file a follow-up; either is acceptable', which is the director seat's call, not mine.",
"noted, not filed: this branch is at least 45 commits behind origin/main (aa5152d1 at push time) and 15 of the files scripts/pm/dispatch-gates.mjs derives its family list from changed across that range, so any local family derivation on this head is a well-formed answer about a tree nobody is on. Not re-merged in this round because the dispatch scoped it to two prose files; the merge is still clean (git merge-tree --write-tree exits 0). Taker: whoever lands the PR — the merge queue rebuilds it on the current main anyway.",
"noted, not filed: platform reading, PR-body surface — a REST PATCH of a PR body APPENDS the bare footer block (blank line, rule line, '_Generated by [Claude Code](https://claude.ai/code)_') under the body's existing session-URL footer. I read the body back after the write: what I sent is stored byte-identical with that block appended, so the stored body now carries two attribution blocks and a second PATCH of the stored text would stack a third. AGENTS.md records the comment-surface readings per channel and warns not to generalise one surface to another; this is the PR-body-PATCH cell of that table. Taker: pm-dispatch references/platform-readings.md, whose per-surface table is where it belongs.",
"noted, not filed: the PR body's own residual-bound paragraph and its 'MySQL was not executed' gap were both stale against the head (the same class as F1, one document out). Carrier off and state → pm:awaiting-maintainer (director seat, summon #18 segment 3). Provenance: the tier PASS WITH FINDINGS 5597570687 on 034856799a carries to head c5c2182f76 — the tail round's delta is docblock + changeset prose only (+15/−8, single ADR-0087 marker retained), verified by this seat; F1/F2/F4 discharged (report 5599295515; landing note on PR #16887), F3's five out-of-PR comment sites stay open with the sibling branch claude/issue-16318-patch-dup-01ADLdAs noted as carrying a sweep. The decision is made and one human act remains: PR #16887 is protocol:data ⇒ maintainer-only merge; it stays draft, CI on the head was 17 green / 16 running / 0 red at this reading. Exit: the merge (card closes by Fixes). One label write (pm:dispatched → pm:awaiting-maintainer, needs:contract-review off), assignee passed back; read back after this comment.

(1) FOOTPRINT: F1/F2 sat INSIDE the reviewed 16-file diff; F3's nine sites sit in four packages entirely OUTSIDE it - packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol.ts:3087 and :9400, packages/lint/src/validate-sortable-fields.ts:70 with its test :27 and :105, packages/objectql/src/query-expression-conformance.test.ts:92 and :602, and packages/services/service-analytics/src/__tests__/measure-result-type.test.ts:189 and :666. (2) HELD PATH: packages/services/service-analytics/** is explicitly held by the concurrent patch round on PR #17015, so a COMPLETE sweep is impossible from here and a partial one would leave F3 half-open while still paying the whole re-review cost. (3) THE REVIEW ITSELF PERMITS LEAVING IT: it classifies F3 as the #16728/#16818 class (code comments, no published page, verified by its own grep of content/docs) and says 'Sweep here (the sibling 5339717b6d carries it) or file a follow-up; either is acceptable'. I re-confirmed all five files still carry the falsified sentence on c5c2182f, so the finding is live - it is deferred, not closed. Review F4: the body pinned everything to c0d4ed6f9f, listed 11 files where the head has 16, omitted the live-dialect cell, sortability.zod.ts/.mdx, types.mdx and measure-result-type.ts, and no os-dev-report existed for the head's patch round. Every clause is now false: the stored body says 'Every reading below is stated against the PR head c5c2182f' (line 15); its 'Full file surface' section claims '16 files changed, 1421 insertions(+), 76 deletions(-)' and lists all 16 by name including sql-driver-16318-numeric-representation-live-dialects.test.ts, sortability.zod.ts, sortability.mdx, content/docs/protocol/objectql/types.mdx and measure-result-type.ts. I did not take that claim on trust: GET /pulls/16887/files returns exactly 16 files totalling +1421/-76, matching the body byte-for-byte on both the count and the totals. The body's own residual-bound paragraph (lines 134-136) now carries the corrected 1e-13 / 1e-30 / 1e35 statement, and no 'MySQL was not executed' text remains anywhere in it. The os-dev-report for this head exists at card comment 5599295515. Separately and independently decisive: the stored body ALREADY carries the platform-appended bare footer, so any further PATCH would land a second block - the dispatch prohibits exactly that, and there is no edit left to make anyway.",
"F5": "NOT FIXED - NOT AN ACTIONABLE ITEM. F5 is graded 'record', and it is a statement about the REVIEWER'S evidence reach, not about a defect in the diff: the reviewer could confirm the live MySQL cell executed only at STEP level (Temporal job 102317539991, step 12 success under OS_EXPECT_LIVE_DIALECT_MATRIX=1) because the REST log redirect targets a blob host the proxy answers 403 CONNECT and the MCP log tail is capped. Nothing in the PR can be edited to raise that evidence tier; the harness already makes a missing server RED rather than a skip (declareUnprovisionedCell to expect.fail under the flag), and the sibling line's independent local MySQL 8.0.46 reading agrees with the pinned expectation. I add one datum rather than an edit: on head c5c2182f the 'Temporal Conformance (live PG + MySQL)' check is success and CI has now fully converged (0 pending), which is a strictly stronger reading than the one available when the review was written.",
"F6": "NOT FIXED - NOT AN ACTIONABLE ITEM, and RE-VERIFIED GREEN. F6 is graded 'observation': no .skip/.only/.todo in the diff, no new registered error code, the SQLite cell and the spec pin unchanged and still derived from spec constants. I re-ran the load-bearing half against my own binding constraint (never skip, disable, quarantine or .todo a test): grep -nE on the full PR diff for added lines matching .skip/.only/.todo exits 1 with 0 matches, exit code captured by redirect before any pipe. A control-byte scan of the same diff also exits 1 with 0 matches. Nothing to fix."

The consequence worth writing down is the ASYMMETRY: the appended block is not idempotent, so the correct action on a body that already carries one is to NOT PATCH IT AT ALL, which is a different rule from 'send it without your own footer'. That second rule only covers the first edit. Taker: pm-dispatch references/platform-readings.md, whose per-surface table is where the cell belongs.",

Taker: none needed; this is the tool working as designed and is recorded only so the next seat does not read the exit 0 as a clearance."

domain:engine/Bug/priority:p2/needs-user-decision域 —— 判决可能落在任一侧:驱动在
packages/drivers/driver-sql/src/sql-driver.ts(⇒ engine),生成器在packages/cli/src/commands/generate.ts(⇒ cli)。
卡面已经把方向问题点出来了(「the direction is a decision, not a mechanical repair」),本席同意,并补一条更硬的判据:
⭐ 把驱动侧的
currency从real改成numeric,会改变已发布部署里既有列的形状 ⇒ 触及存量数据迁移。 按本仓纪律「碰存量数据迁移形状或删除已发布能力的卡进决策箱」,这一条单独就足以上送。当刻复核 —— 分歧成立,且比卡面报的更宽一层
驱动侧:
生成器侧 —— ⭐ 不是裸
numeric,是带精度和标度的DECIMAL:⇒⚠️ 卡面从
information_schema读回的numeric掩盖了标度。
real= IEEE-754 binary32)DECIMAL(p,2))currencypercent/progressDECIMAL(5,2)上限 999.99,且第三位小数被截断slider/summary/number⇒ ⭐ 一个存 33.333% 的
rating那一半也确认:驱动table.float(:16266-16269),生成器INTEGER(:1203)。
real/float)。最小改动,与 [finding] Both migration generators captextfields at VARCHAR(255) while driver-sql creates an unbounded text column — a 300-char value the platform accepts is refused by every generated migration #16091 的既有裁定(「the generator follows the driver」,os generate migration's audit-stamp columns diverge from driver-sql — the generators emitNOT NULLwhere the driver emits nullable, and the SQL format emitsTIMESTAMPwhere both knex paths yieldtimestamptz#15521)一致。 decimal)。
DECIMAL(18,2)/DECIMAL(5,2)的标度后果是本席从 DDL 字面推出的,⛔ 没有实测截断。

packages/spec/src/data/numeric-column-representation.ts:100-106still states the residual bound the prior review corrected (「Magnitudes below 1e-30 round to zero」); restate it to match the changeset:47-52(30 fractional digits kept; loss begins around |x| < 1e-13 and is total below 1e-30). Docblock only..changeset/numeric-column-representation.md::39「Three consequences」 above four bullets → four; the ADR-0087 marker:70says 「bullet 3 IS a prescription」 but the prescription is bullet 4 (:60) → point the marker at the right bullet. Nothing else in the dispatch was varied.", "tests": "The delta is comments and changeset prose, so the local run was NARROWED to the families that read the two edited files; the narrowing is declared here and in the PR body, and the whole farm is CI's. Two heads-up readings that are NOT measurements of this diff: scripts/pm/dispatch-gates.mjs derives 16 changed paths and the PR's whole family list, but warns the tree is at least 45 commits behind origin/main with 15 of its own input files changed across that range; and git merge-tree --write-tree origin/main HEAD exits 0 against origin/main aa5152d1.", "mcp_calls": "0 — every GitHub read and write in this round went through REST with GITHUB_TOKEN (issue/PR reads, the PR body PATCH, this comment); no MCP GitHub tool was called.", "open_questions": [ { "question": "The dispatch required the commit to end with 'Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1', but this session is not that model and AGENTS.md's attribution clause permits only the model-free trailer pair or the harness-written one. Does the seat want the dispatched literal instead?", "options": [ "A — keep the harness-written trailer as pushed (AGENTS.md's 'no model identifier ... the harness-written Co-Authored-By trailer is the one exemption'), and treat the dispatch template's model name as a slot the seat fills from the receiving session, not from the dispatching one", "B — the trailer literal is a machine-read contract on the seat's side; if so, say the word and the next commit on this branch (or an amend before any maintainer reads it) carries the dispatched literal — note that amending means a force-push, which I will not do unprompted" ], "recommendation": "A, because the trailer is provenance: it is read as a statement about which model produced the commit, and a literal that names another model is false where it is most load-bearing. AGENTS.md, which wins over a dispatch word, allows exactly the two forms I chose between." } ], "out_of_scope_findings": [ "noted, not filed: F3 of the verdict — the same falsified 'summary is a float column' sentence still stands in five comment sites this PR does not touch (packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol.ts:3087 and :9400; packages/lint/src/validate-sortable-fields.ts:70 with its test :27 and :105; packages/objectql/src/query-expression-conformance.test.ts:92 and :602; packages/services/service-analytics/src/__tests__/measure-result-type.test.ts:189 and :666). Explicitly excluded from this dispatch's scope, so untouched. Taker: named — the sibling branch claude/issue-16318-patch-dup-01ADLdAs at 5339717b6d already carries the sweep, and the verdict says 'sweep here or file a follow-up; either is acceptable', which is the director seat's call, not mine.", "noted, not filed: this branch is at least 45 commits behind origin/main (aa5152d1 at push time) and 15 of the files scripts/pm/dispatch-gates.mjs derives its family list from changed across that range, so any local family derivation on this head is a well-formed answer about a tree nobody is on. Not re-merged in this round because the dispatch scoped it to two prose files; the merge is still clean (git merge-tree --write-tree exits 0). Taker: whoever lands the PR — the merge queue rebuilds it on the current main anyway.", "noted, not filed: platform reading, PR-body surface — a REST PATCH of a PR body APPENDS the bare footer block (blank line, rule line, '_Generated by [Claude Code](https://claude.ai/code)_') under the body's existing session-URL footer. Taker: pm-dispatch references/platform-readings.md, whose per-surface table is where it belongs.", "noted, not filed: the PR body's own residual-bound paragraph and its 'MySQL was not executed' gap were both stale against the head (the same class as F1, one document out). Both were corrected inside the F4 body rewrite rather than filed, since F4 is precisely the mandate to bring the body to the head." ] }Generated by Claude Code

The dispatch's premise is falsified: F1, F2 and F4 of the contract review 5597570687 were ALREADY DISCHARGED at c5c2182f, the very head the dispatch names. The review was recorded against head 034856799a; commit c5c2182f ('docs(spec): state the residual bound the changeset states, and point the ADR-0087 marker at the right bullet') is exactly the F1+F2 tidy, and the F4 body rewrite was applied in the same round (report 5599295515, landing note 5599324665). I read F1-F6 verbatim from the review comment itself, not from the dispatch summary or from any card summary, and then checked each one against the bytes on the head rather than against those records. Nothing was owed, so nothing was written: no commit, no push, no PR body PATCH, no label, no assignee, no comment on the PR, no ready flip, no auto-merge, no enqueue, no merge. The PR remains DRAFT with auto-merge OFF and mergeable_state clean. ⛔ The PR body was deliberately NOT re-edited: it already carries the platform-appended bare footer block from the prior round's PATCH, and the dispatch's own hard prohibition (and AGENTS.md) forbid a second pass that would stack a second block. The one output of this round is this record.", "findings_disposition": { "F1": "NOT FIXED BY ME - ALREADY DISCHARGED ON THE HEAD, verified byte-level. Review F1: packages/spec/src/data/numeric-column-representation.ts:100-106 still said only 'Magnitudes below 1e-30 round to zero' while the changeset :47-52 states the 30-fractional-digit bound. On c5c2182f the docblock section 'The residual bound, stated rather than assumed' (lines 98-113) now states BOTH ends in the changeset's own terms: 'the column keeps 30 fractional digits', '1.2345678901234567e-15 stores as 0.000000000000001234567890123457', 'Precision loss therefore BEGINS around |x| less than 1e-13', 'is TOTAL below 1e-30', and 'magnitudes at or above 1e35 are REFUSED (the 35 integer digits that 65 - 30 leaves)'. The canonical home and the shipped changelog now agree. Nothing owed.", "F2": "NOT FIXED BY ME - ALREADY DISCHARGED ON THE HEAD, verified mechanically by the gate that prints the artifact. Review F2 named two errors: changeset :39 said 'Three consequences' above four bullets, and the ADR-0087 marker at :70 said 'bullet 3 IS a prescription' where bullet 3 is the read-seam bullet and the prescription is bullet 4. On c5c2182f: :39 reads 'Four consequences to know before creating new tables:'; the four top-level bullets are at :41, :47, :53, :60; :60 is the NOT NULL bullet; the marker now reads 'bullet 4 (the NOT NULL one) IS a prescription'; marker count is exactly 1. Confirmed not merely by reading the file but by running the gate whose whole purpose is to print that text verbatim: check-adr-0087-registration.mjs --base origin/main exits 0 and emits the corrected pointer inside its own notice line.", "F3": "NOT FIXED - DELIBERATE, WITH REASON. It is not a one-commit tidy of the F1/F2 kind and it cannot be completed from this seat. (1) FOOTPRINT: F1/F2 sat INSIDE the reviewed 16-file diff; F3's nine sites sit in four packages entirely OUTSIDE it - packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol.ts:3087 and :9400, packages/lint/src/validate-sortable-fields.ts:70 with its test :27 and :105, packages/objectql/src/query-expression-conformance.test.ts:92 and :602, and packages/services/service-analytics/src/__tests__/measure-result-type.test.ts:189 and :666. Sweeping them widens a PASSed, CI-green, merge-ready PR by four packages, which the dispatch forbids ('do not widen the PR beyond the findings'). (4) NAMED, LIVE TAKER: the sibling branch claude/issue-16318-patch-dup-01ADLdAs is still on the remote at 5339717b6d and already carries the sweep; the disposition is recorded on both faces (landing note 5599324665, report 5599295515) and the director seat reserved the cherry-pick for the maintainer or the engine seat. I re-confirmed all five files still carry the falsified sentence on c5c2182f, so the finding is live - it is deferred, not closed. No new card filed: it is a stale-comment class, not a reproducible defect, a declared-contract violation, or a metadata trap, and filing would duplicate a disposition already recorded twice with a named taker.", "F4": "NOT FIXED BY ME - ALREADY DISCHARGED ON THE HEAD, and re-editing is affirmatively FORBIDDEN. Separately and independently decisive: the stored body ALREADY carries the platform-appended bare footer, so any further PATCH would land a second block - the dispatch prohibits exactly that, and there is no edit left to make anyway.", "F5": "NOT FIXED - NOT AN ACTIONABLE ITEM. I add one datum rather than an edit: on head c5c2182f the 'Temporal Conformance (live PG + MySQL)' check is success and CI has now fully converged (0 pending), which is a strictly stronger reading than the one available when the review was written.", "F6": "NOT FIXED - NOT AN ACTIONABLE ITEM, and RE-VERIFIED GREEN. Base rule 6 makes a premise-falsifying report with evidence and no PR a first-class delivery, and forcing a commit onto a dead premise would be the failure mode. premise_still_valid is false.", "DECLARED, narrowing: 3 of 108 derived gate families were run locally (the three changeset/ADR families that grade the F1/F2 bytes), the other 105 were not. Reason: an empty change set grades nothing, and the derivation self-reports as stale by at least 54 commits. CI on the exact head covers the real 16-file surface and is fully green with 0 pending.", "DECLARED, read-only worktree: I created a DETACHED worktree at the PR head (not a branch off origin/main) purely to run the gate derivation, ran no pnpm install in it, verified git status --porcelain was empty, and removed it. The namespaced fetch ref refs/pmverify/issue-16318-head was deleted afterwards. The shared primary checkout was never edited and git stash was never used.", "NOT a deviation but stated so the maintainer is not surprised: the branch is now at least 54 commits behind origin/main (e57a5c92c) with base ee2cb6b40, and it was deliberately NOT re-merged. The API reports mergeable true / mergeable_state clean, and the queue rebuilds on merge. os-regen-merge.sh was therefore not needed and not run - no merge of origin/main was performed, so the generated baselines in this PR were never at risk of a regen against a pre-merge HEAD." ], "tests": "No test was added, changed, skipped, disabled, quarantined or .todo'd - no file was edited at all. Evidence that the tree was untouched: dispatch-gates derived 'committed 16, working tree 0, untracked 0', and git status --porcelain in the worktree returned 0 lines before removal. Gate evidence is in the gates field, each exit code captured by redirect before any pipe and each verdict quoted from the gate's own printed line rather than from a bare exit status. No ablation was owed: this round adds no assertion and mutates no source under test.", "mcp_calls": "0 - every GitHub read in this round went through repo-scoped REST with a bearer token (a probe returned 200 before any channel was chosen); no MCP GitHub tool was called, and no GitHub write was made except this comment.", "open_questions": [], "out_of_scope_findings": [ "noted, not filed: F3 of the verdict is live but deferred - the falsified 'summary is a table.float' sentence still stands on c5c2182f in packages/metadata-protocol/src/protocol.ts:3087 and :9400, packages/lint/src/validate-sortable-fields.ts:70 with its test :27 and :105, packages/objectql/src/query-expression-conformance.test.ts:92 and :602, and packages/services/service-analytics/src/__tests__/measure-result-type.test.ts:189 and :666. Taker: NAMED and live - the sibling branch claude/issue-16318-patch-dup-01ADLdAs is still on the remote at 5339717b6d carrying the sweep, and the director seat reserved the cherry-pick for the maintainer or the engine seat after this merges. Not swept here because service-analytics is held by PR #17015 and the other three packages are outside this PR's reviewed surface.", "noted, not filed: the platform reading the prior round recorded is CONFIRMED from the other side by this round. A REST PATCH of a PR body appends the bare footer block under whatever is sent; the stored body now shows exactly that shape - the creating session's 'Generated with' footer at 491-493 followed by one appended '---' plus '_Generated by_' at 495-496. The consequence worth writing down is the ASYMMETRY: the appended block is not idempotent, so the correct action on a body that already carries one is to NOT PATCH IT AT ALL, which is a different rule from 'send it without your own footer'. That second rule only covers the first edit. Taker: pm-dispatch references/platform-readings.md, whose per-surface table is where the cell belongs.", "noted, not filed: dispatch-gates.mjs's STALE TREE warning fired hard on this branch (at least 54 commits behind, 26 of its own input files changed across the range) and it still exited 0. That is the documented and correct behaviour - the warning is the signal, not the exit code - but it means any local family derivation on a long-lived PR branch is a well-formed answer about a tree nobody is on, and the only authority is CI on the head. Taker: none needed; this is the tool working as designed and is recorded only so the next seat does not read the exit 0 as a clearance." ] }Generated by Claude Code
