No accounts. No cloud. No subscription that quietly turns into a hostage situation. My apps live on your device, work on a train through a tunnel, and keep working even if my servers vanish — mostly because there are no servers.
Same conviction, different substrate: Bitcoin. Money you actually own — if you're Czech and curious, start at jednadvacet.org or procbitcoin.cz.
And the third thing worth owning: your education. I run Samostuduj, a Czech project about learning things yourself, on purpose, without waiting for anyone's permission.
- vsemadeseti — a calm touch-typing trainer for Czech (QWERTZ). Self-paced, positively motivating, and refuses to shame you with leaderboards. Offline-first PWA built with React 19 and Evolu — no account, fully private.
- flowblock — an Akiflow-inspired time-blocker rebuilt for ADHD brains. Your schedule lives on your device via Evolu, and it forgives unfinished days — which is more than most calendars can say.
- flyer-editor — Markdown in, print-ready A5 flyers out. Runs entirely in your browser (Evolu — SQLite in the browser), syncs with a mnemonic phrase instead of a login.
- silent-link-watchdog — watches your silent.link eSIM balance so you find out it's low before you're abroad and offline. Adaptive polling, alerts over ntfy or webhooks.
- claude-status — a macOS menu bar app and desktop widget for keeping an eye on your Claude Code sessions.
- obedzdarma — "Oběd zdarma neexistuje" — a single-page argument that nothing is free. When you don't pay with money, you pay with privacy, efficiency, the environment, or inflation.
- czech-bitcoin-awesome-services — an awesome list of Czech services that take Bitcoin.
- bitcoin-leaflet — printable Bitcoin leaflets for the analog humans in your life.
I study psychology and economics, which turns out to be excellent training for designing software that doesn't fight your brain — the ADHD-friendly design in flowblock is not an accident. I also enjoy a good structured debate more than is probably healthy.
The door is nktrjsk.cz — there's a contact form at the bottom. Websites, weird local-first ideas, Bitcoin questions, all welcome.
