Apply WIP contrast patch (stronger control borders, placeholders, tooltip surfaces, status palette without -alt variants, single focus indicator). Based on attached WIP by flodolo, with profile.css hunk adapted to current main. Fixes mozilla#4206

Applies the WIP contrast patch to make the light theme readable (stronger control borders, placeholders, tooltip surfaces, status palette).

Based on the WIP patch attached to the issue by @flodolo (
45d04a9), with theprofile.csstimeline hunk adapted to currentmain(extra.unlinkedblock). 42 files, same stat as original.Addresses @mathjazz feedback where clear (borders, placeholders, tooltips, single focus indicator); status palette/brand follow-ups welcome as separate iterations.
