windows-reactor: list_view: no way to control item size except through WinUI internals #4834

Closed

Description

Suggestion

The only lever is a WinUI resource key set somewhere above the list:

border(list_view(rows, view).build())
    .resources([("ListViewItemMinHeight", 16.0)])

The list has no property for this. The value is looked up through the theme system, so it also hits every other ListView under that node, and it is one value for all rows — a list with a taller header row cannot be expressed at all.

min_height on the content does not help: it only raises a floor. Setting 60 makes rows taller; setting 8 changes nothing, because the row is already taller than 8.

    Many APIs aren't exported yet; let's wait until the refactoring is complete.

    As of #4848, list rows are explicit ListViewItem values and each item can set its own local height or min_height.
