Release 2.7.1 does not run on Windows 7, missing "d3dd12.dll" file error

@jaminmc I'm not sure if you're aware but your 2.7.1 release does not support Windows 7 at all, it complains about a missing "d3dd12.dll" file, you only mentioned you dropped Windows XP support, it would be best to update your changelog to include "Dropped Windows 7 Support", is there any particular reason you decided to drop Windows 7 when @justdan96 was still supporting it right up until the final 2.70 release from last year? Is there any chance you could reinstate Windows 7 support in an upcoming nightly build?

I see. QT6 does not work on Windows 7. I am adding a separate build process for windows 7 that will use QT5. Building the new docker build image now.

@jaminmc Wow, thanks so very much for that, is there any chance that a QT6 build version be made for Windows 7, I see that MKVToolNix is still made available for Windows 7 in QT5/QT6 builds as well as FFmpeg for Windows 7 with QT5/QT6 builds too by the same wonderful developer, I just thought if it were possible on your end?

QT6 does not support windows 7. Hence why it was a missing the DLL. That is why apps need to be built in QT5 for windows 7

@jaminmc Hey there, I was just wondering if you will be uploading those Windows 7 QT5 builds shortly? Will there be 2 builds, 1 for the 2.7.1 initial release as well as the latest nightly build that was released a few days later?

Release 2.7.2 is live! and it has Windows qt5 versions for windows 7! Try it out, and if it doesn't work, re-open this issue.

@jaminmc Thanks so much for the new v2.7.2 release but unfortunately the QT5 build for Windows 7 still reports the same error when attempting to open tsMuxer as you can see below,

Edit: I forgot to mention the 32-bit QT5 build exhibits the same behaviour as the 64-bit QT5 build, perhaps you could check the source code for @justdan96's tsMuxer v2.7.0 release

@jaminmc I got confirmation from another Windows 7 user on the Doom9 forums that they too are experiencing the "d3dd12.dll" missing file error, I thought it could've been an error on my end but no it does appear to be an issue with the QT5 builds, when do you think you'll get around to installing Windows 7 on your VM to test for this? I thought it would be an easy fix just by having a look at @justdan96's source code for the v2.7.0 release which works fine on Windows 7?

I am rebuilding my builder image for docker, and it takes a while. Apparently the fix is to either use OpenGL for window rendering, or use an older QT5. I am trying the OpenGL aproach. even though there is nothing that needs 3d acceleration for the GUI.

I removed the QT5 versions, and will re-add them to the release once I have them made,

@jaminmc I was wondering if you've managed to build those Qt5 builds for Windows 7 successfully? I noticed commits were submitted for this on the 29th but checks for this were unsuccessful, has it proved to be more difficult than anticipated & is that what the red crosses mean?
