Black video output on OVTI08F4 (ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13) #434
Solved. Root cause: intel-usbio-dkms in Ubuntu noble-updates
(0~git202312141918) is too old and lacks the Arrow Lake ACPI quirk,
so the usbio I2C cells never register properly and the OV08X40 sensor
is never powered on → black frames.
Fix: manually build usbio-drivers from branch WW44.4_25_ptl_pv:

Fix: manually build usbio-drivers from branch WW44.4_25_ptl_pv:
git clone https://github.com/intel/usbio-drivers
sudo cp -r usbio-drivers /usr/src/usbio-0.2
sudo dkms add usbio/0.2
sudo dkms build usbio/0.2 -k $(uname -r)
sudo dkms install usbio/0.2 -k $(uname -r) --force
sudo reboot
After reboot: sensor detected on I2C, correct aiqb loaded
(OV08X40_BBG802N3_RG_MTL), camera working in browser.
Platform: ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, Linux Mint 22.3
(Ubuntu 24.04 base), kernel 6.17.0-1017-oem.
