I think saying that Elasticsearch projects don't have add-ons isn't entirely true. There's at least CPS that applies to this project type, as per the [Add-ons list](https://www.elastic.co/docs/deploy-manage/cloud-organization/billing/serverless-project-billing-dimensions#add-ons) in the billing docs.

the background is that sec/obs have add-ons you need to specifically enable

Summary
I think saying that Elasticsearch projects don't have add-ons isn't entirely true (on this page).
There's at least CPS that applies to this project type, as per the Add-ons list in the billing docs.
Unless these are entirely different add-ons we're talking about, in which case it's really confusing.
