Program Setup Workflow

User Type

Goal

Prepare semester data so team generation can run successfully.

Pages Involved

Steps

Open Projects page and upload/merge project CSV data.
Open Partners page and upload/merge partner CSV data.
Open Students page and upload/merge student roster or bid-response CSV.
Verify records in each table (filter/search and spot-check).
Open Generate Teams page and create the target semester if needed.
Activate projects for the selected semester.

Outputs

Semester exists in DB.
Student, partner, and project data are populated and editable.
Active project set is ready for team generation.

Common Failure Points

Missing or malformed CSV headers.
Student rows without netID/SSO ID.
Projects missing partner relationships.
Students with no valid choices for active projects/day.
