On a Command Computer placed on a shipified structure, ship.getId() returns a valid ID (confirmed: 46), but ship.getQuaternion() consistently returns nil with no error thrown.
Tested:
print(ship.getQuaternion()) → prints nil
local w,x,y,z = ship.getQuaternion() → all nil
Confirmed ship global and ship.getQuaternion both exist (type() checks pass)
Ruled out deprecated-method issue — this isn't getRoll/getPitch/etc., which correctly throw the "no longer exists" redirect error
pullPhysicsTicks()/physics_ticks event isn't the cause — that's gated behind a separate config option
Tested both at rest in water and on dry land — same nil result either way
Computer position on the ship doesn't affect it
Versions: Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge, CC:VS v0.6.6, CC: Tweaked v1.120.2, Create v6.0.8, Clockwork v0.5.6, Valkyrien Skies v2.4.11
Any idea what's causing this, or a known workaround?
