Summary

The official managed Shopify plugin distributed through Codex, version 4.0.1, contains malformed YAML frontmatter in skills/shopify-shopifyql/SKILL.md. Codex skips the entire ShopifyQL skill during startup.

The current upstream file is valid, so this appears to be a managed-bundle packaging/minification or release artifact rather than a problem in the current main branch.

Malformed frontmatter in the managed bundle

The compact flow mapping omits spaces after mapping keys such as PostToolUse:, which Codex's YAML parser rejects.

Working equivalent

Converting the same declaration to block-style YAML makes the frontmatter parse and allows Codex to load the skill:

Requested fix

Please update the managed Codex plugin artifact so it preserves valid YAML frontmatter, and consider validating every packaged SKILL.md frontmatter during the bundle build. Local cache edits are overwritten by plugin updates, so the workaround is not durable.
