Task

[OP-XXX](link to ticket) No ticket. Dependabot security alerts.

Why?

Dependabot reported 9 open security alerts. All are transitive (indirect) dependencies in yarn.lock. This PR replaces Dependabot PRs #365 and #366 and also fixes the alerts that have no Dependabot PR.

Alert Package Severity Fix
#184 source-map-js high 1.2.1 → 1.2.2
#183 postcss-selector-parser medium 7.1.4 → 7.1.6
#177 brace-expansion medium 2.0.2 → 2.1.7
#176 brace-expansion medium 5.0.6 → 5.0.12
#181 http-cache-semantics high Removed (no patched version exists)
#185 sprintf-js medium Removed (no patched version exists)
#159, #179, #180 ip-address medium Removed

http-cache-semantics, sprintf-js, and ip-address came from node-gyp@10 → make-fetch-happen → socks. Yarn pulls in node-gyp@latest for the fsevents build. Refreshing it to node-gyp@13.1.0 drops that whole chain.

What Changed

  • Bumped source-map-js, postcss-selector-parser, and brace-expansion in yarn.lock
  • Refreshed node-gyp to 13.1.0, which removes make-fetch-happen, socks, ip-address, sprintf-js, and http-cache-semantics
  • No package.json changes
