Oh, I forgot like everything important, whoops! 1.20.1 Minecraft, Apotheosis 7.4.8, Utilitarian 0.9.1, Placebo 8.6.3, Patchouli 85, and Apothic Attributes 1.3.7
Interestingly, this appears to only happen after the 6th grown sugar cane, which is when Utilitarian stops allowing sugar cane growth
that's looks funky, you can try setting the additionalGrowthHeight to 0 in the config or see if apoth has a confg to turn theirs off
I don't update 1.20.1 anymore so I won't be debugging this issue
one question though, is it a client side visual bug or actually floating sugar cane? you can check by logging out and and back in again
Certainly not a visual bug, relogging makes the sugar cane grow to the highest bugged point. Setting additionalGrowthHeight to 0 didn't seem to work, either. If anything, it made it worse. Cactus also grows weirdly, but once?
Seems the higher additionalGrowthHeight is set, the higher the sugar cane (and other crops, likely) take to bug out. Setting it to something stupidly high, like 9999, seems to prevent it from happening entirely
