Summary

Adds SLF4J logging instrumentation to the UserService class with entry/exit logging for both public methods (createUser and updateUser). The logging captures non-sensitive identifiers only (username for creation, userId for updates) and uses INFO level as specified.

Review & Testing Checklist for Human

  • Verify that no sensitive data (passwords, emails) is being logged - only username and userId are captured
  • Confirm INFO log level is appropriate for your production environment (may be verbose)
  • Run the application and trigger user creation/update to verify logs appear correctly

Notes

  • Compilation verified locally with ./gradlew compileJava --no-daemon
  • SLF4J is already included via Spring Boot dependencies
