Request for enhancement: Discard data after first blank in pasted URLs

This would allow adding comments after saved URLs

what do you do when you're accessing such a link? manual copy and paste? I mean a space isn't a URL compliant character, so usually that part of a "URL" is not clickable anyways. and if do it manual, well, then you can also just stop before your comment.

I frequently cut & paste URLs from a plain text file, where the URL is on single line, on occasion followed by a comment.

I looked this up quickly. seems to be trivial and doesn't hurt anyone to do. if it serves smth, why not..
