Player lagging after enabling seekbar preview

Steps to reproduce

1. enabling seekbar preview
2. play a videos

Expected behavior

The player should run smoothly without any problems.

Actual behavior

The player & UI seems to freeze when clicking the rewind/fast forward button or double tap seek
