Native clipboard manager #1126

I agree with this one. You can install an extension in GNOME and KDE already has a clipboard manager. Would be nice if there was at least an extension or a built in app in cinnamon. It's not necesarry and there are 3rd party apps but they are either too limited (often no image support) or they are too complex (like copyq). It would be a nice quality of life improvement. For the time being, I think copyq is one of the better alternatives. |

This is one area where I'd love to see the team consider improvement. Some third-party applets like GPaste Reloaded get the job done well with minimal external dependencies, but this is such a basic yet neglected feature in many Linux DEs besides KDE. (Im surprised GNOME doesn't come with one!). This would be a treat. Also, KDE has a nifty feature where you can display the contents of an entry as a QR code. |

I vote for. Extremely lacking this :( |

I second the Native Clipboard History suggestion. It's a must have tool nowadays and the lack of it is a strong deterrent from Linux Mint. All the Clipboard History apps for Linux Mint on the market are bad and, given that Wayland is coming, it will be much harder to create a good Clipboard History, if at all possible. Since even passwords land in the clipboard, the best and the safest solution is that the OS handles it, and not some 3rd party app. |

Uh oh!

Hi!
Can devs add native clipboard manager?
Why:
If will be added, make sure NOT to store clipboard on disk. Use RAM instead (or have toggle). Because if user will have password in clipboard in plaintext that not volatile = decreases security.
