Protonmail bridge

If you want to use protonmail accounts in mail, it is not possible now.
There is only a complicated solution to install and setup it but is only for professionals.
A solution for normal would be great: integrate protonmail bridge to nextcloud as an app with a web based setup interface could be prefect to everyone.

Hi, I just wanted to mention that we have this now: https://github.com/nextcloud/all-in-one/tree/main/community-containers#how-to-add-containers. So the community could potentially add these containers as additional container. Feel free to ping me if you should need help on this!

Btw proton enabled their SMTP Server for non buisness users a while ago.
I dropped the mail bridge in favour of it.

@szaimen does/could the MC push the smtp-server config to NC (and to all other containers which do send emails)? If this is the case, it would be relatively straightforward to add to the AIO stack a container dedicated to eg. debug emails sent, useful during development, such as maildev or mailcatcher...

Answering to myself above: it seems that yes, community containers can push config to the NC instance by using lines such as php occ config:system:set mail_smtpport ... under the nextcloud_exec_commands key in their json definition file
