Shore Lodge stockholders in special session Thursday evening in Boise voted unanimously
to recommend to the corporation's directors a program for immediate construction to
double facilities of the year-round resort building lately opened on the shores of Payette
lake near McCall.<br><br>
A spokesman for the stockholders said the expansion program had been adopted in view of 'fine public acceptance' of Store Lodge and heavy demand for its facilities. New Directors named.
The stockholder group. composed of 125 Idaho residents residing in the area between Lewiston And Twin Falls, with a majority from southwest Idaho, voted at the Thursday evening meeting to add 10 new members to the corporation's board of directors, increasing its personnel to a total of 15.
<br><br>
<b>Expansion Program</b><br>
The proposed expansion of the lodge, doubling its capacity, would provide for extension of the three story building 109 feet to the northwest along the shore front and for construction of a new three-story wing at an angle from the main building. It would double capacity of the main dining room now accommodating 80 persons and provide for installation of a dance floor, besides enlarging the cocktail room.<br><br>

Since its opening last July 1, Shore Lodge has accommodated guests to the limit of its capacity, gaining an enviable reputation anong vacationers and travelers and attracting also a number of conventions. Reservations have been made for 33 conventions during September and October, the
manager reported, and some reservations have been made as far ahead as 1950. <br><br>

<b>Ski Lift Recommended</b><br>
In addition to expansion of the building facilities, stockholders recommended the immediate
construction of a one and one-fourth mile ski lift on Brundage mountain, to the base of
which the Brown Tie and Lumber company now is building a road.
