2.3.1 [Install] Perl interpreter path not change after changing LCOV_PERL_PATH in Makefile

I'm installing lcov-2.3.1 and have changed LCOV_PERL_PATH to my own path. But still lcov reported wrong INC path in Perl.
Then I checked .pm files under support-scripts directory and found that Perl interpreter path was still the default one /usr/bin/env perl

My expectation is that the perl in your path is the one you wanted - hence the /usr/bin/env perl lines that you noticed.
Is there a reason you want some different behaviour?
Without pretty bulletproof reasoning, this isn't something I plan to change (but you can change anything you like, in your sandbox or fork).

Note that you didn't say what you were trying to do when you saw the errors.
In particular, you probably want to use the modules (rather than executable scripts) for callbacks as the performance is likely to be dramatically better.
