New release

Hello,

I am currently using docker-py at the commit that adds #3270. This commit was published a few months ago but was never made part of a release. I'm noticing that the overall package hasn't had a release since last year.

Would it be possible for the owners of this package to publish a new stable release so these changes can be used easily, without having to specify a Git SHA as the package version?

there used to be a PR to mark the projec as unmaintained but it was closed.
maybe it's time to reopen?

c.f. #3000 & #2989 from back in 2022 but it was then revived.

I guess the people to tag might be the authors of recent Merge pull request ... commits on the default branch
