What happened?

After installation of Virtualbox 7.2.x (latest try with 7.2.10) my WiFi adapters on the host are disabled. Eve worse: If I do enable them, they connnect to the WiFi router, and become disabled immediately again.

This is reproducable, I retry with every new version of VirtualBox.

Workaround: Deinstall VirtualBox, and reboot the host.

How can we reproduce this?

Here's, what I do:

  1. Under Control Panel / Network Settings / Change adapter settings, verify that everything is alright, and the WiFi adapters are enabled.

  1. Install VirtualBox 7.2.10, start a VM, and power it down.

  2. Verify the adapter settings again. Note, that the WiFi adapter is now "Disabled".

  1. Using elevated rights, enable the WiFi adapters. Observe, how a connection is being established successfully. (Takes a few seconds.) Observe, that the adapter becomes disabled again.

  2. Deinstall VirtualBox, and restart the machine. Everything's fine again.

Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?
