The activity indicator currently deployed in the Todo setup includes patched in debounce logic to work around noisy or unreliable GPIO behavior. The switch GPIO has been somewhat unstable for quite a while, possibly due to wear after long-term use. The debouncing parameters are configured in the config ini.
Wouldn't hurt to upstream this debounce handling at some point.
