[Bug] App crash due to ui error

Describe the bug

App crashed while a playlist was playing in the background and screen was locked. Seems to occur at random. May be related to a network error I also received.

I think my crash is related to this as well.

I was playing a playlist but in the foreground. Paused and searched for some videos, and added them to the queue. When I tapped to resume the app crashed.

When I tried to play again the playlist, it immediately crashed.

I'm having the same problem. It's when I'm going to popup mode from either portrait or full screen using either the popup button or just going to main screen using the built-in android ux navigation element.

It's exactly the same except it's a US video and I'm on a Pixel 8 Pro running Android 17-37.

I tried to replicate my error again but so far it's not crashing. I have a few big playlists that I play and use as background noise while doing stuff. I don't turn my screen off since I occasionally watch. So my usual steps:

1. Pick a playlist and tap.
2. Tap "Play all", open the queue and randomize the list, OR scroll at random, pick a video, choose "play in background" to load the playlist into queue, tap the bottom playing bar, and tap play to start playing the video.

When I got the crash, I paused the video, searched for a video, add to queue and hit play to resume and it crashed. I was playing while on VPN.

It could be that at that time the VPN network hiccuped, but usually the video will just stop playing.
