In previous releases of HDFView, double-clicking the resizing handle area for a row/column header would expand the height/width of that row/column to show the entirety of the data in the cells; this no longer works. Possibly related to #485. As a point of comparison, this oddly enough still works for reference datasets, both old and new format.
